History (abridged) :

Long long time ago, in the North of the Realm of Camelot, the greatest an fearest foe of Fairytale Land rose. He was the king of an small kingdom and was hungry of power. During years, he collect all the Darkest powers he could find. He ruled the all land before a young boy, Taram, managed to defeat him. His power was was trap within a Calice which would be known as the Graal. His soul was trapped within a Stone. His soulless body was turned into a monstrous tree. The Sorceress Macha Mong Ruad managed to retrieve the Stone and bring it to Storybrooke. There, she embued his power into the young Neal Nolan, and that bound the Dark King's soul with the baby. He is considered as the really first Dark One despite not being really one.

- Like all other Dark One, he is associate with an animal, the Stag (because of his horns).
- The Calice (symbolise a Cauldron) and the Stone are two of the Four Treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann. The other two will probably also be link to his "death".
