The Horned Kings' Treasures

The Horned Kings' Treasures


Abridged History :

During their travels, the two brothers, Thorvald and Thorsteinn gathered a large treasure with some unique and magical items. Their treasure was eventually stolen by Sugriva during his wander in their region. This treasure was then shattered aroud the country, and the world. Among them, there was :

Magic Sealing Urn
The Magic Sealing Urn : As its name said, it's a magical urn capable to seal a magical creature inside it. It soon get lost after Sugriva's robbery. Many years later, it somehow happen to get into Rumplestiltskin possession. He traded it to Arendelle's royal family. The urn was used to seal the princess Ingrid and later Queen Elsa. It was finally destroyed by the later.

Flask of Yin & Yang
The Flasks of Yin & Yang : Couple of flasks, one containing pure light and the other pure darkness, both in an oil form. Drinked by a person, the liquid awake in them its potentiel for light ou darkness, depending the flask used. Baigujing stole the flasks to Sugriva and used the Yang flask on Sun Wukong to make him attack Xuanzang and tear apart the group. Nowaday, the flasks remains in the Sorceress sealed vault, among other treasures of her own.

Golden Rope
The Golden Rope : It a magical rope, unbreakable even by demons. Never appears again after Sugriva stole it.

Chandrahas
Chandrahas : It's a magical sword alleged to be forged from a sun seed. It was the main weapon of Thorvald, before being stole by Sugriva. This later used it against Sun Wukong during their duel, but he wasn't able to hold it properly. After his defeat, he offered it to the Rakshasa King Ravana, courting for his sister, Shurpanakha. That's the sword Ravana used during the Battle of Lanka. After his death, the sword was given back to Angada, Sugriva's heir, and remains in the Kinshkindha Kingdom.

Palm Leaf Fan

Banshosen : It's a magical fan capable to create hurrican by waving it properly. It was offered to the Rakashasa Queen Mandodari by Sugriva. The Queen use it briefly during the Battle of Lanka. After arriving to the Flame Mountain, Sun Wukong ask her the fan to extinguish its fire. She lend it to him, without telling him how to use it, resulting by the Monkey being almost burned alive. It was given back to her after the end of the Journey.


Notes :
- The Magical Urn tooks the place of the "Purple Gold Red Gourd" of the Journey to the West novel.
- The Flasks took the place of the "Suet Jade Flask" of the novel.
- The Golden Rope will probably be use later, maybe fused with Gleipnir, the mystical binding of the Norse mythology.
- Chandrahas is also the Seven Star Sword of the novel.
- The Banshosen is a fusion of the Palm Leaf Fan and the Banana Leaf Fan, both from the novel.
