House of Verona

House of Verona


The House of Verona is the reigning family of the city of the same name. The current Prince of Verona is the prince Escalus. Even if they have the official power, the real decisions are made by the powerful marchant famillies of the city, especially Montecchi and Capuleti. The House of Verone is somehow related to the Royal Family of Troy.

Prince Escalus : The prince Escalus is the head of the House of Verona and the governor of the City. After the fall of the city of Troy, he welcome his distant cousin Paris in town. He is really close to his family and was devasted by the death of his cousin Mercuzio but still try to appease tension between the two waring families, in vain. In Storybrooke, he is known as Bartolomeo Scaligeri and was a regular at Il Balcone. After the second Curse, he became more a leader and manage to save his favorite restaurant.

Mercuzio : He is the cousin of the Prince Escalus, pretty close to him and to Romeo Montecchi. (see Mercuzio of Verona)

Valentine : He is the young brother of Mercuzio and the cousin of Prince Escalus. Really romantic, he love the stories of love which end well. During their year back in the Enchanted Forest, he helped Romeo and Giulietta to run away together. In Storybrooke, he have several small jobs, including selling chocolates on a certain special day.

Prince Paris : Paris is the Last Prince of Troy and a distant cousin to the Prince Escalus. (see Prince Paris)
