Abridged History :

The Nian is a creature raised by Ravana, the Rakshasa King. It have large green scales and golden fur. He is able to move as freely in water and on land. It was sent by his master to destroy Sun Wukong, when this one was marching on Lanka. After a short fight, Sun Wukong was able to defeat the creature. He then use it as a steed and give it the cool name, according to him : Water Repelling Golden Crystal Beast. It fought alongside its new master during the war against Ravana. After they reached the Flame Mountain, he travel overnight to the Capitale City of the East Empire with the whole group on his back. After his master disappeared, he hibernate waiting for him. He wake up only once a year, to feed himself. Since Indrajit's Magic Explosion, it is really sensitive about noises and fear the red color.


Notes :
- I barely know anything about the "Water Repelling Golden Crystal Beast", so I mixed it with the Nian of the Chinese Folklore.
